Default does repeated uphill driving burn transmission fluid quicker than normal?

I have noticed a slight burning oil-type smell whenever I come home after driving up a huge hill. I took a look underneath and saw what I thought was just residual oil burning on the exhaust pipe after a routine oil change. So I sprayed the entire thing down with some carb cleaner, and used shop towels to wipe it clean. All my fluids were filled (Except my transmission? I'm not sure how to check the level w/o getting underneath the car). I drove the car around for a week, and noticed that there is some more fluid leaking on the transmission case. Anybody know if driving uphill can cause something like this?

there is no such thing as transmission buring oil, you might be leaking transmission fliud which might drip on the exhaust but I dought that too since the exhaust goes underneith the motor not the tranny. You most likely leaking motor oil somewhere. HTH

thanks for your help. i went under it today and checked it out, it appears there's a tiny nut missing (one that holds the oil pan down). i guess the oil pan wasn't getting a good sealing missing one nut, so i'm gonna head down to the acura dealer and pick one up and tighten it up and see what happens from there.
