I am going to fab up some new IC pipe for my car when it arrives and now it is routed like this....


and i am debating on making it this way next time....


i like them both, but dont know.....!

i just changed mine from pic1

to pic 2


i just like it better in pic 2, cleans up the bay a little(just by look) but i am also gonna relocate my BOV down lower, like behind the bumper to clean stuff up a bit

Go with the method in the 2nd pic, its farther away from the manifold so there is less heat soak.

well pic1 is designed for integra's bc they dont have that airbox hole that the piping goes through in pic2.

so, if you have a civic - pic2... integra - pic1

Is this anything like long route/short route piping on DSMs? any change in boost response?
