Take the switch apart and clean or replace it. You have checked the fuse?

There's a clutch on the motor.

Assuming the motor turns when you hit the switch, you need to tighten the clutch.

Do a google search for "crx factory service manual" there's a section in the FSM on how to tighten the sunroof clutch.

ok let me be a little more clear when i unplugged the sunroof at the motor and put power right to the motor and it opened and closed. i pulled the switch apart everything appears to be fine.either im not getting power to the switch or theres a break in the wire.i just want wire colors going into the plug

check for voltage on the plug for the motor...contacts could be dirty.

My switch was also bad, but I cleaned the contacts on the inside real good and made sure the touched when the switch was pushed and that fixed my problem as well...hope its something that simple with yours!
