All right I’ve been having some vtec problems, for some reason vtec will not engage in 1st gear, but will engage in all other gears. When I first completed my h22 accord swap, I was getting vtec in all gears. Then all over a sudden I have not been able to get vtec in first gear since. At first though I thought I was not getting vtec at all, but I noticed in 2nd gear I felt and heard vtec. But I was like nah could not be vtec because I did not feel it in first. So I did another run just to make sure and yes, I have no vtec in first, but I do in all other gears. I can also tell the engine is cutting off the fuel at a low rpm in first, I have no tach so I can't tell at what rpm this is happening in. Any ideas or solutions.

As of now the only cel I get is a code 12 which is my EGR valve but that all. I have no other codes.

I running a stock p13, and my oil levels are fine as well.
