removing front engine mount
My front engine mount was broken and i just got a replacement. How in the world are you suppose to reach the 3 nuts that hold the mount to the front part of the car??!?!? I can barely touch those nuts with my finger let alone use a wrench etc to unscrew it. Help please!!!

I also used a wobble extention in conjunction with the regular extention.

I got the bracket out but i am having a lot of problem with the mount. There is no space at all and using the extension is starting to wear the nuts and is letting me apply the force in the wrong direction. Any help? Does autozone have any "free tools" that could help? Thanks

Well, if you took out the rad hoses. then it'll be easy to take out the radiator Then you should be able to get a long breaker bar through the front bumper....unless you have AC and PS crap there.
YEAH! i got it out finally....i broke my wrench doing it too
. Now that i have everything back together with the new mount. I drove around and when my car is at a stop, there are alot of vibrations...what did i do wrong? Did i not tighten the nuts hard enough? Thanks for all the help guys

then stop reading it,i did check my work but i am not sure if a new solid mount is suppose to do that or not. If it is not suppose to do that then i would take it to a mechanic or something but if it is suppose to do that then i can have a piece of mind.

a new mount will be stiffer than an old worn out mount, so some more vibration than before is normal, but if it seems excessive then something could be loose
