Yep, that is correct.
After you torque all 10 bolts to 49 ft. lbs. , retorque the first and second head bolts to 49 ft lbs.
I torque all my head bolts to 12, then, 24, 36, and then 49, and then 1and 2 to 49 again. That way not all the pressure is on certain spots at times. I don't know if is really necassary to do though.
