Just got a CEL today and I'm almost sure its the CAT code as usual. I just thought about it since this has happened before and eventually led to a clogged cat that had to be replaced. I unhook the cat from time to time and i guess I frogot about the gasket like I have done before, but I didn't think it was a big deal. Thought it was there just to keep vibration down mainly. Could this be causing my cat to clog up resulting in poor dyno numbers? Also wonder if it could in anyway be linked to my recent oil burning problem. Thanks in advance.
not only for vibration, but to seal it too.. from leaks. Too much leaking out... not enough through to the second 02.. CEL time..
