Hey guys, I remember seeing a link onetime in this forum for conical open ended lugs. I have "tuner" style I guess open ended lugs right now, but I want to be able to use my impact gun to zap the lugs off without stripping them.
I was at vatozone yesterday, they had some but only 4. I need 16, and didnt feel like dealing with the donkey at vatozone to order some lugnuts.

I found some at Pep-Boys. I've been using them for several events now and they seem to do the job just fine. I zip them on and off w/ my impact all the time.
Muteki open ended nuts are steel and plenty strong for impact guns. I've been zipping them on and off with an electric impact for 2 years now without any sign of damage. Yes they're tuner nuts, but they're cool. And they're pretty cheap. There's a couple group buys in the sponsor forums. Last price I paid was $32 shipped.

Very good looking 17mm hex open ended steel with black finish available from motor-force.

Applied Racing Technology has steel and aluminum 17mm open ended nuts.

I have both, but only use the steel nuts these days. They torque up quicker and hold torque without overtorquing.
