What should i do??? $$$
OK, I just purchased a 90 CRX HF for 150 bucks....the guy said that it needed a new clutch in which i figured no biggie, 150 bucks for a clutch.......but, my father, while i was at school, wanted to hear it run adn put some gas in it and it wouldnt start.....now that i find out a bad clutch wouldnt stop it from starting, it might be battery, maybe ignition/starter, SOMETHING.....should i put money into the current engine and take my chances or just get a CRX engine from someone swapping a b16 or something into their CRX? Any advice would be appreciated and a please I could get a good deal on a b16 and tranny and ecu (no aftermarket stuff, just the basic engine) for cheap, id love to get one....thank you all....

I would do a compression and leakdown test on your current motor and troubleshoot the electrical system before I would go out and drop cash on a new motor. That is unless you just want to do a swap.
well i EVENTUALLY wanted a swap but id like to save up and spend only about HALF of my money on this car, but if i need to swap, i will.....how much should i expect to spend, i see you have a b16 swap.....parts and labor, roundabout figure? and where can i get these tests done, do it myself or at a shop?

I've got a Si motor ready to be sold. Or I'll drive up there and pay you 400$ for the car. 150$ ? I wish I could have found that deal. I think I payed as much for my CD player.
do you really think someone can give you an answer as to why your car doesn't start w/o having looked at it? how can someone give you an accurate answer when you don't give any information other than "my car doesn't start". please. give me a break, man. give some description of what's going on. no one is going to answer that. *shakes head*
