You can't put a ls crank i a b16 block because the crank will hit the oil squirters. Unless you take the bolts out and and plug them. I think wiseco would make any custom pistons you need.

They do, but it uses the B17 crank...which in this case I would do. Not the Tech43, but I would but a B17 crank in it and put that c/r at 12.5 with some RM M22's in it....mother will scream!

Not ecatly what you were asking, but someone might find this amusing ..Je does and crower make's rods.. I have a used set sitting right here for boosted apps with 1 heated rod end from a spun bearing. I also have a set of brand new allmotor pistons, these can be used in a b16 with this crower rod or in a b18 with a 95mm crank and a 5.505 rod... They have a funky pin size of .787 and a compression height of .965(from my measurements by holding them up to my .965 allmotor ones.lol) the rods are slightly shorter then an ls rod it appears to be in the 5.200 range..

Call Je and ask for the pistons they sell crower for their 2.0 stroker b16 kit.. thats what these are in 84mm for the bossted ones and 85 for the allmotor one's

That's what u call a car that puts oil all over the track because there motor went BOOOOOM.
Tech 43 make some so u can use the LS rods the pistons look kind of wired but they work.I would go with the tech43.

We built one a couple years back using a ls crank, b16 eagle rods, and custom 2-ring arias pistons w/stock dia pin. I heard the motor ran good but i haven't seen him in awhile. We cut the couterweights on the crank to clear the squirters, and rebalanced. i wouldn't boost a 2-ring piston and i wouldn't expect to get a ton of miles out of it, but i think i have access to one more set of these pistons. the customer bought 3 sets of them, got a clearance deal on them or sumthing.

Weird, don't all B-blocks have the same bore/deck height? I know all F/H blocks have the same deck height/coolant lines/head bolt placements.

I should clarify that the boosted piston rod combo i spoke of is for a ls crank in a b16 block, the pistons look exactly like the tech 43 kit ones except this kit usues a slightly shorter rod then an ls. I reread what i posted and got confused myself..lol I'll take some pics for everone..

Nope. Correct me if I'm wrong, but:
B16 - shortest
B18C1,3,4,5,6 - little taller
B18A,B - taller still

Incorrect.

B16 is smaller.

All B18/B20 blocks have the exact same deck height.
