OEM Oil Cooler Question
I have had a spare OEM GSR oil cooler chilling in my garage for the last 6 months and I want to put it on since my oil temps are a little higher than I would like.
What I am wondering is if it is possible to hook the water lines up from another similar sized hose like the water outlet on the intake manifold instead of buying an OBD1 water pipe.
Could that be a problem since coolant may be flowing from the block and is too hot?

run the heater hose off the thermostat housing to the cooler, then off the cooler into the intake or side of the head. basically just put it inline with one of the right sized heater hose.

That is the hose I was eyeballing when I was thinking about putting it in. Thanks for your help.
