92-95 civic si wiring harness
Hey i have a 92' cx hatch and im dropping in a 92-95 b16. The wiring harness that is coming with the motor is set up for a right hand drive car. The guy im getting the motor from say that the b16 wiring harness with be cut at the firewall....so if you guys could give me some help on what is the easiest way to wire this thing up i would appreciate it. The car is a 92' cx hatchback with a d15 from the factory and I am swapping a 92'-95' b16 into it. Also if you guys know the best way to wire to vtec. Im kinda new at the whole wiring thing so i hope that you guys can help me out.

easy way is get a any 92-95 civic ex/si engine harness and just add the knock sensor wire to it. it will have the VTEC wires in it but you still need to add the 3 wires for VTEC from the harness location to the ecu itself. BTW you can reuse your stock CX harness but you gotta change/add the VTEC wiring(in engine harness & cabin harness), convert the 1 wire 02 sensor wiring to 4 wire, etc... too much of a hassle if you ask me.

Apparently, all '92 Civics are pre-wired for VTEC from the factory regardless of trim level.
