Excess heat???
Well on my way home the other day I heard a strang noise coming from the rear. So when I got home I went back there and grabed both of my wheels in the center and noticed one was warmer than the other. So I looked at the rotor on both sides and saw that one looked more worn than the other so I figured that the caliper was siezed. So I replaced the caliper and so I thought all was good.
Then on the way out after I fixed it I noticed the sound was still there and that the wheel was still warmer than all the others. Now I am wondering is it because the exhaust is one that side. (This is on a eg coupe and the exhaust runs on the passanger side in the rear. Also the concern is on that same side in the rear.) Or is there anything else that could cause excess heat like a wheel bearing gone bad or is the new caliper not workin right either?

When you took off the old caliper, were the slide pins seized? I always like to confirm what's wrong so I know I'm fixing the right thing.
Sometimes the rubber brake hose can collapse internally, which holds the brake on. In this case a new caliper would seize just like the old one.
Sometimes the brake pads are simply wedged into the caliper bracket too tight, so they don't release. You might have to file the ends of the pad backing plates so they fit nicely.
