Default dual o-rings??

my block is o-ringed and my head is also o-ringed.

I am going to use a cometic MLS head gasket.

can the o-ringed head be mated to the o-ringed block?
or do I have to take the o-ring out of the head or block? and leave only one o-ringed?

It's one or the other, not both. But you just can't leave one out.You need to file or surface the block or head with the o-ring in place. You only want the remaining o-ring to be .005" to .007" above the surface.
