compression testing. I already searched
I've a motor selling on ebay and was asked how the compression was. The motor is sitting on a skid in my garage. How do I do a compression test w/ the motor out of the car? I don't want to take the chance of messing anything up, thats why I ask. no ******* remarks please
the motor has to be at operating temp for the test to be accurate
but you can remove the spark plugs, and hold the throttle body open. use a 17mm socket on the crank pulley bolt to crank the motor counterclockwise.

I thought it was counter clockwise, but wanted to make sure befor I did it. Thanks. I didn't know that the motor need to be at operating temp to be accurate though. Thans again.
