Default QUESTION LS/vtec?

ok, I dont know which timing belt I'm suppose to use. I have a GSR head on a b18 block. Can any one help me on this one? thanks in advance.

your block is a b18__ ? What letter? It will also depend on what water pump you are using.

not sure which water pump
if it was gsr, ls, or b16 which would it be?

I think it goes by the water pump. My buddies has a B18A1 with a GSR water pump, B16 head and he used a GSR timing belt. You should look in the search.

i dont htink it goes with water pump i have b16 block with a GSR pump, so i bought a gsr timing belt and it didnt fit so i wasted my money on that because the dealer didnt want to take it back, at the end it fitted a b16 t-belt

gsr timing belt, its the only one that will work right without jumping a tooth or 2 and destroying ****...as a rule go by the head your using, if your still trying to figure out what head studs/bolts to use you need to use gsr studs/bolts


edit: i would have answered this yesterday when i saw it but my 5 posts for the day were already gone
