Anhybody using this front crossmember?

Well, my second hacked-up stock crossmember is finally starting to crack in the weak area. So I am looking for a replacement for it. Not one of those flimsy, race-only type traction bar systems that will probably break if you hit a good-sized pothole or rock. But a strong piece to replace the stock crosmember and use the stock radius rods - something that can stand up to real-world daily driving. This piece would seem to fit the bill. And it costs only $245, shipped. Does anyone have experience with this piece?

i really like how it lets you retain the stock strong radius rods..and also has a optional bracket for the civic half radiator..
im curious to see how it hangs..ground clearance,visability,etc..

Does this have the same function as a traction bar? Or is it just for clearance reasons?
Are the radius rod mounting points exactly the same as OE?

It will serve the same purpouse as a traction bar when using the poly inserts...and it gives plenty of clearance

Wow that's mighty low.
If that were on my car it would definitely drag coming out of driveway. The way the Full-race tow hooks hang on their bar drag on my driveway if I don't come out of my drive way at an angle.
Bar looks good though.

During reg. driving mine never scrapes. I do angle out my driveway...but I did that before the bar just out of habit with lowered cars. You can't see mine with the WW front (I'm laying on the ground taking that pic) You can look low from the side and see it a little. With the stock HB front you can see anything under the bumper, so I'm not surprised at how low it looks, even though its really not that low, the HB bumper is just high.
I would say if your lowered less than 2" you'dbe fine. I'm on Eibachs right now.
