im not sure what your asking.

a lighter flywheel will make the engine more responsive when the clutch is in. so rpms drop faster between shifts, and it revs up faster when the clutch is in.

i think that might help.

A lightweight flywheel is what you are looking for.

I don't see why you would wanna do that on a stock engine...

Judging by your signature you are cheap with your car (all show no go cause it costs too much) then get your stock flywheel machined. You can lose 4-5 lbs.

I other words you want the motor to rev faster. let the dam think breath get u a header and exhaust and a cold air that right there should be what your looking for. a lighten flywheel is to much it'll spike when you hit the gas but that's not a good think for something if the air fuel mix and exhaust have no were to go just a high flow cat and 2" exhaust should do the trick

so if i get a CAI and exhaust that should do the trick? I'm not really looking fo rpower gain i'm really jsut lookign for sumthing to alone the revs to slow. I drive for a living and if i step on it to get out into traffic and then have to stop at another light i dont feel like up shifting to bring the motor down. i dont see the sense?(up high in the rpms)
