what exactly is it called ?
i just purchased a d16 engine and i wanted to put it on an engine stand .
took off the tranny BUT the clutch plate is in the way and it wont let me bolt the bolts to the block from the engine stand .
what kinda bolt is it thats holding the clutch plate to the block and what tool do i need to use to take off the clutch plate ?
it looks like a 12 point bolt but not sure .
what else do i need to take off other than the clutch plate to bolt the engine to the engine stand ?
thanks in advance .

you mean the pressure plate?
the pressure plate bolts are 10 mm, use a 10mm 8/10/12 point socket or whatever it is, i forget, but just use a socket that works. torque them in a criss cross pattern at 20 ft lbs. if you plan on reusing the pressure plate, take them off in a criss cross pattern to avoid warping the plate.
