Default LS/VTEC Barely Runs Ignition Problem, Black Spark Plugs

Ive got around 4k miles on my LS/VTEC in my 00 Si that I've had no problems with until just lately... Its tuned with Crome on a P28. About 200 miles ago, The car was stuttering extremely bad while I was cruising around 40-50 MPH. I pulled over, and made sure the plug wires and all the ignition looked normal. Everything looked fine. After turning the car off and on about 4 times, I was about to call AAA to be towed when all of a sudden, it's just like it went away. But now, 100ish miles later, the problem is constant and the car is not drivable. I drove about a mile from where it happend to get home, it will kinda idle along, but will **** out and stutter every once in awhile. When I put the key ON the CEL light goes on and off like normal, but when I start the car, the CEL goes on about 3 seconds later. Idle is extremely low, just shy of dieing (300ish RPM). So far, I've tried a different Distributor, plugs, and plug wires off another running Si. The plugs are black, and some show signs of gas on them. I'm assuming its running very rich, but there must be some spark for it to still run? I'm stumped. Anyone?

If you can I would try another ECU and see if it does the same thing. If it does then check the map sensor it would make a similar condition.

1) check the error code it is throwing. u have to shunt the connector near the ecu for this (if the ecu is not running FULL duplex J12 removed)

2) Check your fuel maps in crome, injector duty cycle, etc and compare it to stock maps to see if ur off by thousands.

3) If the problem has to do with crome or any of the plugins.... uninstall **** and install latest crome 1.1.2.

hope it helps

tried a different map sensor w/ a different vaccum location. Nothing. Tried reburning the bin on a different ROM chip, nothing. The car only throws the code while running. With J12 connected it was reading CEL 14 (IAC (EACV) - idle air control valve). I'll try replacing that, hopefully for some reason its messing up my ignition system
