My car wont start!!!!
Heres the deal, I just replaced the starter in my hatch (which has a H22a motor). Now, when I turn the key nothing happens. Before I replaced the starter, the old one clicked but the motor didnt turn over. My battery is charged, I have gone over all my connections a few times. I have no idea what is going on. I turn the key and the dash lights come on, everything works but nothing from the starter!!!!!! Please help me electrical gurus!!

did you try putting the key in the on position make sure the car is in neutral of course and jumping the starter cause if that works then you know the problem is in the wiring somewhere between the key and the starter
I did that, the starter sparked a little but didnt turn over. Also when I did that the gauges went crazy inside the car. I think it has to be in the wiring.
If the ignition switch is bad will all of the dash lights and headlights come on? And if it is that how do I change it out? Thanks for the help
Dash lights will come on once the key is in the run position, the start postion maybe bad, and the head lights work if the keys arent even in the ignition
