I just grinded off this welded nut on the hub that connects with the rear lca-hub bolt. I know the bolt is an M10 x 1.25. If I were to buy a nut off home depot what grade would I go with? grade 10? or would I need something stronger? Can anyone link me a direct linkto buy the right grade and size bolt since some of the employees don't know jack at these hardware stores. Preferably a nut that looks like a sombrero, I don't know what it's called but it looks like this

If you can find an M10 x 1.25 in grade 10.8 at home depot, your store is 10x better than any around here. Most, if not all, Honda screws are fine pitch, meaning hard to fine. Grade 10.8 metric is equiv to grade 8 sae or whatever. What you're looking for is a flange nut. I think you can get away with a lower grade bolt, with either a lock washer below, or just a nylon locking nut - whatever you can find. Its the bolt you don't want to skimp on.

it's the nut i'm looking for. I got OEM honda bolts from hondapartsdeal.com. So I would need to buy a grade 10.8 m10 x 1.25 nut? What plating should I get to avoid rust and corrosion? Nickel? zinc?
