Default prelude,we need to replace the passengers belt, but there are so many different belts andseatbelts on

Hi all,newbie
The mrs has a 88 prelude,we need to replace the passengers belt, but there are so many different belts and stalks.Well i found one similar in a pickapart yard, but i can only get the drivers side...what im wondering if you can tell me is...will this be ok for the passengers side of our car,the stalks are the same, mounting to the seat, not the floor, and the shape of the tongue on the belt is the same.
Id be very appreciative for some help,as im not a honda person,as the name hints, but i like them none the less
Thanks alot guys

It seems that if it all bolts in and everything is the same size it would work correctly. Also I have a friend that works at a Honda dealership and says that if your seatbelts are damaged, or return slow, or in any way pose a safety risk that they can be replaced by the dealer for free. This may only apply in certain cases, but it is something to look into.

Hi guys,thanks for that.
So they will fix it for free??
Im in New zealand, and they are all tight arsed dealers over here so im not sure on that one.
The belt its-self wont retract properly,it used to,now its stuck all the way out at its full length. The condition of the weave is fine, just the mechanism in the retractor, and i aint gonna try fix that its a bitch of a job from others ive looked at,and its not the safest for my pregnant wife.
I value all your replies guys,im on an invalids benefit and cant afford to pay someone to fix it,luckly before my health took a dump i learnt alot about cars and fixing things.
Again....thanks
