Default No power when i hit boost

Ok i have a d16z6 with a greddy kit on it. Running a 12:1 vortech fmu, with my timing retarded 2 degrees, one degree colder spark plugs. Ok thats what i got now for the problem, i can drive the car around fine when i dont hit boost. But when i get on it then come to a stop, the check engine light is on, and when i start to go it feels like the car has no power and hesisiates alot. I shut the car off and turn it back on and its fine untill i hit boost, this ever happen to anyone here? This just started happening recently, is it a sensor? my injectors not flowing? thanks

are you using check valves or the missing link to bleed boost off the MAP sensor. have yourself from the hassle and get your ecu chipped and tuned on some sort of ems...

its probably ignition or fuel related.

whats your spark plug gap set at? ( i know it shouldnt matter at idle...but i might as well ask)

if you're running a Z6, get your p28 chipped to run crome or uberdata. then u can ditch the FMU.

Ditto, you can chip the ECU and run real management for less than what you will pay for that Missing Link. There is no reason to buy those anymore with the options available now.

Heck you can probably sell the FMU on ebay and make some spare cash for tuning as well.

I agree 100% if you are not going to tune it get a missing link, But getting your ecu chipped and then getting it tuned is not cheap. Sure go ahead download the program but there is much more to it than that.It cost me 700$ to get it chipped and tuned, But much safer this way. But on the comment you don't have to use missing link if you are under 10 psi is ture if your ecu is chipped ONLY!
