ok im putting a b16a into a 1988 crx dx it came with the wiring harness for i bought the whole swap, I have a couple questions at this point after i have already wired somethings.

I so far have wired
- A8 to my vtec solnoid
- B5 to my solnoid pressure switch
- B19 to my knock sensor
- C8 to my 2nd o2 sensor
- I swithed my C1 to B10 and C2 to B12
- I then ran new wires from C1 to the blue/green wire on my distributor
- As well as C2 to the blue/yellow wire on my distributor
- I ran A1 to injector #1 (Brown wire)
- Then i ran wires from A3 to #2 injectors(red wire)
- From A5 to # 3 (blue wire)
- From A7 to #4 (yellow wire)

I already have the engine harness that plugs to the resistor box into the injectors so do i still need to cut the red/black and connect them straight to each injector or are they okay since i have the harness that goes straight to them?

as far as this questions goes. if you are using the whole harness that was giving to you w/ the engine I do not know....
But if you are using your old harness where as you would only need to add a couple of wires then...You would plus the red/black wires coming from the injectors directly to the resistor box. Yellow/black wires connect that one directly the the dash harness which leads to the inside of the engine bay and then the correct positive wires from the injectors directly to their designated ECU wires/pinouts

well my car wouldnt start and i figured why i was using the b16a engine harness with the dx chassis harness so it was telling everything in my engine to do the wrong thing But i am working on the old dx harness I have already did my dpfi to mpfi and all the wiring is done at the ecu so it should be running by the end of the day

yeah that's the best way to do it. Just use the your original harness and just add the needed wires which should only be 2 extra wires from the distributor, then you have to switch around to existing wires from the distributor. 2 wires for vtec and then the two extra wires from the injectors...and there might be one more that i can remember off hand..

oh yeah switch around your tps wires. the two end ones. i believe the color is green and white
