paint runs
Ok i just painted my car (I know a pro should be doing it but i had no choice and anything is better than rust) so I have some runs in the paint. If i wetsanded it would that help take them out of at least make them less noticable?
Also the gun i was using seamed like ti was atomizing the paint quite right. Is that just because of a cheap gun? it was my buddys and it said HVLP on the side. The pressure wasnt too low either

hmm that sounds hard. wetsanding seams easier if that would work as well
Why did it come out with a textured look rather than a smoth fiish? Gun?

buff and wax and it should come out.

Thanks, will wetsanding take out the textured look?

well, it also depends where the runs are, if you want it done right. If you ran the base coat and cleared over that your going to need to redo that section, or cut through the clear to smooth it out and reclear it. if the runs are just in the clear coat you can probably get away with one of the above methods but i reccomend not using a razor blade unless you know what your doing because one wrong move and you'll have to do the whole panel again. wet sanding is cake, just keep working your way up to a higher grit, and dont start really low either.
