Default paint overpsray

ok, so a couple months ago, my neighbor got her house painted. and unfortunately the guys who painted her house didn't cover up my car that well, and a whole bunch of little dots/spots of paint got all over my car.

i wanted to know what's the best and easiest way to remove all these little spots. they come off when i scrap them with my fingernail but i cant do that to the whole car - it'll just take forever.

Wet sand with 2000 grit, and then buff the paint, and polish it. I did this with my fenders w dirt and dust particles under the paint, and i was very impressed

Have you tried a "Goo Gone" style product? It might work with enough scrubing.

dont sand ****. you need to get some body clay. http://www.mothers.com it should be in there somewhere.
even a 2000+ grit sandpaper will take the finish off of your car, so throw away that sand paper and get
some mothers clay bar.

before you do anything drastic.....and ruin your pain with all of the other things the forum members mentioned.....by an automotive clay bar and clay solution......you must first wash your car, then use the solution and bar together....should be able to take it right off.....then you also have to follow the bar with a soft polish and good wax job.... as a last resort you can try rubbing alcohol...but you must and I mean must polish the area immediately after....

and for all of you nay sayers.... Because I detailed for quite some time (jags, porches, ferraris) and have never, I mean never found anything better....if you want the absolute best car care products on the market....they are made by Production Car Care.....based out of stockton california

the best waxes, polishes, interiour products....

if anyone wants the website let me know...

It's simple...

You fisrt get your car nice and wet, ohh yea.
Then take your claybar and rub it and feel it so it feels nice in your hands.
Then you slide it on your car ever so gently, never rough.
Do one motion the whole time, she likes that.
Don't let her go dry, and if she does spray her again.
Rubbin on a dry surface is a lot harder for a job your size.
Make sure you're doin it at a temp lower than 60 degrees, you don't want claybar smear.
I make pornos for a living.

Good luck.

clay bar seems to be the way..but id confront ur neighbor about what happen d

not that it was ur neighbor s fault that overspray occured..but the neighbor wanting to avoid a confrontation with a neighbor *ur family*..could go back to the painter s and have them take care of the situation...could even mean a new paint job

clay bar will work fine

or you can mix a shot of slow reducer with 2-3 shots of wax/buff compound and just use this to wipe off the overspray then just wax the car aftwerwards
