I need a step by step on how to remove the door panel on my 92 civic lx. The exterior door handle is stuck in an outward position and i want to get in side the panel to fix it but i cant firgur it out please help!!!!! Thank you guys for your comments

 

power windows or manual?

I have a hatch, but I'll assume they mount the same way.

1) remove the screw inside the door pull.
2) remove the screw hidden by the dash when the door is closed.
2b) edit: I forgot, there's also a screw inside the door handle on the inside.
3) remove the window crank (manual). There's a spring clip on the back. Use a pick to hook the clip and pull. If you have power windows, you should just be able to remove the panel and unplug it.
4) Pull up then out on the door panel.
5) CAREFULLY pull back the plastic. There's some sticky *** glue holding it onto the door. Try not to tear the plastic. There's a small tear in mine and when I crack the window in the winter, cold air pours in though the speaker grill.

Thx but the panel is getting stuck on the interior door handle and the top where it has the rubber gasket for the window. BTW its a rear door, automatic windows.

 

lift door panel up.
