Can a stock crx (obd0) map sensor with with an obd1 b16 swap?
I'm not sure. It's just a guy said he needed a firewall map, I said, I have one, I sold it to him, he's saying it's 88-91 crx (which is true), and therefore won't work with his obd1 b16 in his 92 si, and I'm thinking, why the heck not, they all do the same thing.
I did the same thing, it works fine, i tapped the stock hole on the obd1 throttle body to accept a nipple then ran it to the firewall map, its been working fine for years

5v PS-30 Why did you tell me this was the # ?
The one you sent is for an obd-0 here is the # of the one you sent me..
079800-1080 PS11.. It will not work on an obd-1.</TD></TR></TABLE>
This is what he says. I do not believe I ever told him the number, but I don't seem to understand why he thinks it won't work with obd1. I'm correct that it will, right? Thanks...

It should work fine. I didn't know there were any with two holes. If he needs to different sources then tell him to "T" it into one and then run the one hole. But I can't see that being a big deal.
You can run the stock map with any setup, you just need to run the vaccum to it. AND, the stock plug fits fine, if he even thought that was an issue.

that part he is talking about has nothing to do with the map i think he is taking about the purge solenoids, in my crx there is only one but in my da there are 2, if that wasnt part of the deal tell him to get bent you sold him a good map, the map will work regardless if obd1 or 0
