Ok I have 313$ but dont know what to get and theres no way i could save up for a swap or turbo. so what should i get? I have a stock 96 civic ex

 

Save it? $313 is like 4 months worth of gas.

 

ill graduate b4 i get enough to do anything with. but is there anything i could do under 1k?

Agreed.

 

300 is not enough to do much of anything. I learned the hard way, save up for quality parts. Cheap stuff will break/wear out and then you end up buying the quality parts anyway.

For the record...300 is about half of the minimum amount you need for a good suspension set up.

 

save for suspension or if it's stock and you want some header/intake do one of the two or work on apperance of car if you like some Si tailights or blk/jdm headlights etc. etc. or sound system even or like they said gas!!!But am I cheap for spending only less than $80 buck a month on gas???oh well more money for me hahahahah....

 

truthfully, the best idea is for gas...if not then maybe tints and some basic appearance, because you dont want to go cheap on suspension or motor

 

Short shifter and stabilizer bushings and a nice shift **** (weighted)
or general upkeep before starting any mods.

Don't be one of those people who drop a ton of money only to hae the timing belt snap.

some people use this as an excuse for a motor swap, but I rather do a motor swap on my terms not because of poor upkeep.

only my alarm cost me $350

 

i know you already did decide but i would do as i am doing and start at the ground and go up

but an alarm is not a bad idea it gives you the ability to open the doors without keys.

if you are looking for power then maybe a intake or some headers. If you want some appearance then maybe some springs will make your car stand out
