Default Window Tint. How To Take Glue off.

i took the tint off my car. came off all easy and glue as well, minus the rear window. the glue is rediculous. i used a heat gun, barely works. would paint thinner be a bad idea on the defroster? any suggetions.

Just get a can of foaming window cleaner and spray it all over the window to soften the glue. Then get some razor blades and scrape it all off. Make sure also you have some towels close by it can get messy. Good luck.

If you use a razor blade on the rear window be careful because of the defroster. I would imagine some goof-off or something of that sort and a soft scrub pad would work just fine to get the glue off.

Try soap and water. Be carefull of the rear defroster though.

Be Very Careful on the Rear Defroster, you cut 1 of the lines and capeesh no more defroster for you. I would take the rear window to a tint shop and have them remove it for you
