results from us. we arent going to make it to atco with the hotrod car. transmission got the best of us. we must have had it completly apart 20 times this past week. something is binding up when we clip the countershaft in and not allowing the trans to spin as 'freely' as it should........ blahhhhh

Right Lane: Kenny Tran Runs 8.712/172.81, Now #1
2:37 p.m. It looked like Beauregard had some boost control = issues on the starting line, the motor got no boost till he left the starting line area. Nice lap for = Kenny, right down the middle of the lane.

Right Lane: Stephanie Eggum Runs 8.504/180.21, Now #2
Ron was the runner-up here in 2005, Gary Gardella won in Hot = Rod, for 2006 Gary has moved to the Pro Front Wheel Drive class.
Lummus and the rest of the = Garrett Turbos team like to throw down a big number right off the trailer - YES!
Lummus has the track ET = record, Eggum holds the track speed record.

Juarbe pulled the chute at the top end, but it never = blossomed. Jorbe was able to slow enough with brakes alone to make the turn at the top end of the track.

Humphreys is leading the points chase in the class - the = team has been here most of the week and looking forward to racing this weekend.
Lowe had issues right = on the line, Humphreys had to lift when he got over near the centerline. It sounded like Lowe was unable = to get the motor spooled up correctly before the light went green. 2:53 p.m.

Ladwig had a no tire smoke burnout, the motor didn't sound = quite right. Marty has revved the motor several times, then the motor died. He's trying to get the motor = started, but Jimenez who had been waiting, is finally motioned to stage the car.
Jimenez took his = time off the starting line, long enough for announcer Mark Limmer to say "time to microwave a burrito." = It doesn't count in qualifying, Brian's Everyone's Mortgage machine sounded good going down the quarter = mile.
