Decided to create a account today to let you guys know that my 06 rsx-s got stolen today at my work place underground garage. The gate for the past week hasnt been working so its been open the whole time. I went to work at 4pm today and when i got out at 11pm the car wasnt there. For some reason i didnt hear my alarm go off, but i called the police reported it and going to call insurance company tomorrow.

::Bone stock rsx-s. I dont understand why they had to pick my car. Hope they burn in hell f&%$ing losers.


EDIT: They found my car on 5/24/06. Ill try to get pictures from insurance. Its missing doors, wheels, motor, all of the interior. The car was sitting in some dump area. Glad i have full coverage.

they jack it because RSX parts are worth money =]

or they jacked it cuz they wanted to go for a joyride

i doubt it. still no sign of my car around. its most likely getting its interior/rims/bumpers stripped and the motor also.

just proved the guys point above you. Type S parts go for alot of money. You can sell the swap easy for 4500. That car is already being stripped as we speak too. Sorry to hear about that bro. I hope you either get full compensation, or get your car back.

What color was it? Did your work garage have video surveilence, or at least a guy at the gate who sees who goes in and out of the garage?

How did they take it? I thought the rsx had an immobilizer system? Could a towtruck fit in that garage system? Must have been pro's.

 

has to be towed, don't they have cameras on the garage?

even with an immobilizer, it can be stolen without being towed

RSX-S theft is on the rise. I am reading more and more reports of thefts. I don't think its as bad as ITR's but there are alot more RSX-S's on the road so the percentages can't be compared very well.

 

Unfortunately, as K-series swaps become more popular and feasible in a wider range of platforms, this stuff is only going to become more common. Sorry for your loss, man.

Man thats so true.God i hope anyone that thinks of stealin em flippin gets hit by a car while walkn!! showin up to ur car and it missin must be the worst feeling inda world.sorry man hope u get sumntn back.as crazy fast as they are,they shud have never thought of k-swaps.

Immobilizers only protect against novice thieves. Any good thief will have your car started in less than 2 minutes, possibly 1.

 

sorry to hear about that man.. yea thats why i slam my car for that very reasy.. it just makes it harder for them to tow... oh well it happens man..

Yea i want to know how they get around the immobilizer besides towing... so I can protect myself againt it
