Default would this be a good dd setup?

i recently have come into a great deal for a b20b block and crank from my friends dads crv, it had 47,xxx miles on it. Ive been playing around with engine components to see if i could build a motor Superior to my plain b16 with a frankenstien of both. could i get some input as to if this would be a good set up and the type of power i would be getting out of it. is it better than my b16? and are any of the figures out of wack? also, besides tapping and decking the block, will there need to be any other machine work on the engine ie. like pistons into the block? and what mounts/axles/computer are needed?

setup
b20b block
b16 si-rII head, (pnp)
b20b crank
p30 pistons
b16 si-rII rods
oem 3 layer headgasket
decked 0.05in.
edit: + b16 tranny

also why is the 92-95 jdm b16 .2 more compression, what components are different?

p30 pistons wont work in a b20, and the b16 rods you have selected wont work either, your going to have to use the b20/b18a or b18b rods

Bingo - 81MM v. 84mm. do some more reading it doesnt appear you know much about the b20.

The B20B only has 8.8:1 CR, the B20Z has 9.6:1. I would either find some B20Z (P3F) pistons or go aftermarket.

you would also have to setup the block to match up with the head. there are dowel rod kits out there to do it, but i think re-tapping the block is also a way to do it. havent had any exp. in doing this....just do your research and youll find the answers

yeah man, dont give any engine advice please...you have to redrill out the dowel pins to 14mm in the head, there are also dowel pins that eliminate having to drill the holes bigger, but you will still have to tap the oil passage so you can put a plug in it and then tap the new one that becomes the oil line for the head which you have to run off the oil pressure sensor which you do by putting a T in the line
