u all might know the accident i had with the CHP last june.the one where he turned into me?

well couple months after that accident i was charged with criminal reckless driving.at the same time i have a lawsuit against the CHP.ive been to court about 5 times through out the year for the reckless driving,which everytime i went,all they did was postpone it to another date.couple days ago my lawyer calls and said that the case for the criminal reckless drving has been dismissed.i dont think ive been so happy.that lifts so much stress.

through all the times i was in court,the DA had somehting different to say each time: theres a new witness(the only witnesses that were actually there were on my side),that my dad went and threatened the officer that hit me-my lawyer asked for a report on that and never got one.many things they made up that they had no proof on.so that case is now over

all i have now is the lawsuit which most likely will be settled out of court,ill let yall know what happens with that.

expletive the CHP....I hope it all works out well for you. The police aren't really that bad but I hate the CHP with a passion. I have friends that have been ticketed for 70 on the freeway. Seriously, 70mph wtf.

i have no problem with the sheriffs around here.a bunch of them come into my work and they are all really cool people.a friend of mine,his mom works at the sheriff station,she says the sheriffs cant stand the CHP.the CHP is a totally different breed of people,bunch of douche bags,never ran into a nice one.

 

These things take time. I sincerely hope you get the justice you deserve.

just finished the original post. Thats really fucked up that a CHP collided with you, brought you to the ground, and ontop of insult to injury, he pulls his gun out on you. and threaten you...

im sure you've filed for a Civil Litigation against the patrol officer and against the State of California. Im not a lawyer by anymeans, but DAMN. i can see a nice lawsuit against that ***** and the State you call California

ill make it clear...

i was traveling in the #2 lane(#1 being the fast lane) at about 70 mph. i see down the ways a cop sitting on the right shoulder.i saw him start to pull onto the freeway and all traffic started to slow to about 20-25 mph. there was a semi,in the #4 lane,husband and wife in a truck i believe in the #3 lane,i was still in the #2 lane. the chp went directly from the shoulder into my lane. the chp turned his lights on(i think they were the emergency lights,but i dont exactly remember). i was behind him for a good amount of time,i would imagine if he wanted to pull me over he would have got behind me or atleast said somehting on his megaphone.i saw the semi start to speed up and pass the chp so i did the same,i put on my signal and went into the #1 lane,as i started to speed up,around 25-30 mph,the chp turned directly into my lane,not how you would do a usually lane change,but as if you are trying to swerve around a couple stray cows.in the witness' words to my mom, "it looked like the chp officer TRIED to kill your son"

there it is,i think that explains it all

 

oh and there was no tape,also there are suppose to be radio transmissions as to what was happening if i did break the law and they really were in pursuit of me.there were no recordings at all.

 

Sounds like he didn't see you or was distracted. I've seen them pull those boneheaded maneuvers to slow down traffic.

he saw me.he knew i was there.it was a total of 3 vehicles on the road other than him,how could he not see me?if i was not behind him,that would mean i moved into another lane which he should have looked.if he didnt see me he would not have said i tried to run,or would have pulled a gun on me when i was unconscious.if you just simply didnt see somone,why would you lie and try to cover that up?

I'm not saying I don't believe you but proving his intent to hit you will be next to impossible unless he confesses to it despite having a witness say so. Good luck with it all.

 

I hope you get a big payday and a public apology. That's the least they can do for you.
