frame sliders forsure.

I would only get a cage if I actually used it.

FYI some cages sit lower then others so they rub alot in the canyons/twisties.

take your bike to the track and learn it

you'll learn more in a day at the track than you will on the street

if you want to keep your fairings as clean as possible, go with the frame sliders and learn how to ride your bike. Most cages look ugly on the 600RR's and they're really just made for stunting. Here's a whole bunch of cage pics:

Just take off the fairings, that will keep them clean.

if you're planning on stunting the bike i'd get a cage, otherwise i'd just get a nice set of frame sliders.

Frame sliders are not supposed to protect your plastics. They protect your frame from suffering damage.

Cages are ugly. That's like putting a rubber watch-face protector on your Rolex. Now, if you intend to stunt, then it's possibly a good investment.

As has been said, the best way to keep your fairings mint is to take them off and put them somewhere safe.

Cuzz it's his first and he is afraid he is going to drop it and rash up the pretty new fairing. Which is exactly why brand new bikes for newbs isn't the greatest idea in the world, but oh well.

Oh yeah, just get sliders.

the freestyle cage actually doesn't look too bad compared to some of the others on the market. if you're that afraid of dropping it just get a cage for now and then downgrade to frame sliders once you become more comfortable with riding.
