EK side markers
When I see side markers on other cars they have rubber gaskets on the outer edge of the side markers to prevent rusting of the fenders. No one sells genuine Ek side markers that come with rubber gaskets right? Then how does the body shop install them? Do they just drill a hole big enough to fit the whole side marker into and just glue them on?
no.
square holes big enough for the bulb to fit through are cut in the fender, and two screws go through the base (or "rubber gasket") that hold it in place. Then the amber cover just snaps on.

My EG ones didn't come with a gasket, nor anywhere to screw them in. They are clipped in.
