K20 pistons in b20 block
Hey, so I was searching for some high compression pistons for a b20 on ebay and there was a guy selling some k20 pistons and suggesting them togo into a b20 block for a "awesome simple high Torque upgrade." I havn't heard of this and the search feature hasn't either, can anyone shed some light?
have never ever heard of this but i would say its not gonna work without some machine work. and oh yea, your gonna have to sleeve the block cause a k20 has 86mm bore and b20 is 84mm bore. contact prostreetimport and get some rs machines itr replica pistons. only $295 with rings i believe. i jus dont think runnin oem pistons (k20) and having to machine them but ur sleevin the block. makes no sense to me. id spend my money elsewhere

no wont work even if you resleeve and bore to 86mm ... the valve reliefs are totall off.... the compression height is the right spec though. the wristinpin is also bigger
