I just ordered one for my '91 Si from a known online Honda site, about $10 total for all the tie down parts.

You cannot use one from a 92+ civic. The 88-91 runs the length fo the batter. The 92+ ones are short & strap across the middle...

IMO the OE tie down looks and works the best.

When I bought my current car (90 STD) it didn't have a battery tie down, or engine or battery for that matter.

Because of the way the battery sits in the EF engine bay the aftermarket tie downs really don't work very well.

I bought a new OE one from the dealer for like $10.

fairhondaparts has everything everyone else has, they are a Honda Dealer Parts Counter. They have $5.95 shipping not matter what the order size is. Good if you order lots of stuff at one time. They ship liquids also, so you can get tranny fluid and coolant sent to you. I usually use San Leandro's site for part number look up, then call the toll free number to fairhondapartsforyou. They are in Connecticut, which is nice for us folks on the east side of the country. They normally have the lowest price, or close to it. The cheap shipping seals the deal.
