Default Help Crx problem with TPS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a problem with my CRX 1986 SI. While in neturel my car's rpm bounces from 900 to 1200. While driving it for 1 hour the program fuel injection light goes on and stays on. The car is a manuel transmission and has 136xxx it still runs strong. Also someone told me it could be the Throttle postion sensor. Also the price on a TPS. Any imput on this will be appreciated. Thanks

The ecu is in the p/s foot area. Pull the carpet back and you'll see a kick plate with a little circle window in it. If there's a light blinking then count how many times it blinks. Then, do a search on here and you can find out what it is or google it and you'll get an answer that way if you don't have a manual. Although, if you don't have a manual I'd suggest getting one, they help alot. Only like 10-12 bucks at your local auto parts store. And if your tps is bad, you probably won't be able to replace just that because the way they're mounted and the calibration. If the tps is bad then go to your local junk yard and yank an entire throttle body of an old LS integra, they bolt right on and actually a slightly larger bore which flows a little better. As for the idle jumping, I'd say cleaning out your IACV (Idle Air Control Valve) will fix that.
