Default PCV Valve - OEM or Pep Boys?

My honda dealer is out of stock. Would you trust a PCV Valve from Pep Boys or autozone?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for the reply.

There are many american/PepBoys parts that i would not use in a Japanese car. IE I've been told that American fuel filters wont fit the toyota/honda that they are designed for. I've been told that a genuine Honda valve cover gasket kit is a "better fit" than one from AutoZone. The Non-Honda electical parts installed in my car by the PO caused me a LOT of trouble.

I am sure there are some parts that are very basic and don't need to be genuine Honda. I'm wondering if the PCV valve is one of those parts.

me and my bro have used pcv valves from all the local parts stores when its time for tune-ups and emission time. they all work great.

i almost always buy OEM parts.

with the PCV, you can just clean it out with carb or brake cleaner.

Pep Boys doesn't sell "Pep Boys" brand PCV valve...they sell Purolator, who generally always make good products.

just check between tha runners of your intake manifold (closer to head, side). you'll see a vacuum hosin' between it and tha intake manifold (if it's still there).
