Car: 99 Civic Si
Problem: The wiper switch has 4 positions (Off, intermittent, constant, and fast). The fast and constant setting work but when you go to switch to intermittent or off they stay on constant. When whatever happened went bad the wipers were on intermittent. Then all of a sudden they started "parking" in the middle of the windshield and not going at the right time intervals. Then a couple of minutes later they went to constant on.

I though it was the wiper combination switch that went bad. I bought another one. Its not the problem. I have heard it could be the integrated control unit under the dash or contacts on the wiper motor. Anyway to tell which it is for sure? I found this thread so I may just try what he did but right now its pouring out so im looking for suggestions.

if the car has a intermittent wiper relay i would check that first....its a lot easier than that control unit.....
