do you have an intake on your car? if so its just, sucking air in through the filter

The whistling is more then likely your intake, I can take a pic showing where the idle set screw is. Hold on guys, give me 2 minutes.

I can almost guarantee that's not whats causing it.

honda's just do that at about... 33% throttle i think it was(dont remember i checked it with data logging.)

nothing is adjustd wrong. that i am aware of. my girlfriend has a 2000 civic with an intake. nothing has ever been touched before. it has always whistled since the intake was installed.

i think the idle bolt is what causes the whistle.... or its the other pasage way in the... uuhhh looking in through TB there is a pasage way to the left i beleive. the angle of the pasage might cause a whistle.

same thing here, mine always did that to. thats why i took off my intake and but the stock one back on. don't touch the idle screw of your gonna screw up base idle

If you have any aftermarket intake, thats more than likely the problem... I noticed it when I first installed mine... Its the sound of the air moving over the hole that goes to the valve cover...

its the turbo..

no seriously its no big deal,,its either the idle adjustment screw or the intake system,,and with most aftermarket intakes you're going to get the whislte..but at the same i here these new stock cars do it all the time..like my neighbors 03 camry 4 cylinder does all the time,,and you can hear the throttle whistkle right when she turns off..

I don't mind the noise, but I would like to know that makes it.

I have had this noise with both my stock intake and my ram air. So I would say that it is not the intake that makes the noise.

Could it be something with the engine that makes the whistle? I have never heard the whistle on my brother B16 with an aftermarket intake, but my A6 does. What engine is everyone with the whitsle running?

I only get the whistle if I'm crusing and then accelerate hard.
