my 6th gen 4cyl 2door 5spd accord started getting this weird idle problem after installing an intake. heres a video of it

I thought it would be the intake so i put the stock one on and still does the same thing, ive checked for vaccum leaks but nothing.

BUT when i disconnect the map sensor ontop of the TB it seems to go back to normal until i restart the car. heres a pic for reference

what u have there is a common honda problem its no big deal unless it annoys you, the problem is the Idle Air Controller or IAC its been replaced twice on my car.

is the Idle Air Control valve the black cylinder type thing with a electrical connecter with 2 wires and 2 vaccum lines coming out of it? seen in the pic sort of under the strut tower bar?

 

i believe so its hard to tell from that picture but mine is not black

 

Sounds to me like you knocked off a vacuum line somewhere during the install, and just haven't noticed the hose yet.

 

i think its your iacv, theres a thread around here on cleaning it
