Guys, play nice. A generic intake? I'd say go to ebay and get one. Other than that, pony up to the bar and spend the $$$

Yes we're looking for a generic one.

We currently have a couple "authentic" intakes already however...We are looking to do some back to back dyno comparisons of our own... Mostly between a AEM vs Generic.

Tried eBay with no luck.

Weapon R isn't "generic" enough...

Home Depot does no good. I want a one piece off the shelf intake.

I think your screwed then. I dunno of any other intake besides maybe APC that is "generic" enough for you. If HD is to low and Weapon R is to high, your fugzored...

Injen, but it's more than a Weapon R, and he says that's not generic enough.

I know eBay isn't the only place that sells cheap "performance" parts... However i personally don't know of any other place.

"Cheap" & "Performance" don't usually happen in the same sentence.

Look, don't be a ****** wiseass. I was actually trying to help you. Guess what, not anymore good fuggin luck lookin for your cheap performance upgrade. I didn't come on here to play baby games. I actually did find that intake I posted above on EBAY of all places but it wasn't "cheap unless you consider $185. cheap".

IIRC there Were intakes made with PVC piping by some members awhile back and a generic velocity stack but not only do I not remember where the link is, but after you being a dick I could give a **** and wish you best of luck finding what you seek. If I also remember correctly the generic intake/DIY jobber didn't net any staggering gains or anything worth writing home about on a stock or close to stock motor.

In response to your post. If you would READ you would notice i am looking for a generic 1 piece 3" diameter intake pipe for a simple dyno comparison to possibly prove or disprove a locals statement.

You are the stereotypical ITR owner and i pity you.

How the hell was he "helping" me?

He didn't post up what i was looking for... He posted a picture of 2 piece design. Not even a link to verify it was even 3" pipe.

I was merely looking for an ITR specific product. So naturally... The ITR forum would be the place to start looking would it not?

I appreciate the help regardless. However I posted looking for some simple suggestions and i got some e-thuggin instead.
