Default dang indiglo gauge!

i recently installed indiglo gauge and it works fine, but when i floored my lude the tach stayed at 4 rpm 1-4 is fine but higher rpm is stuck! what do i do now!!!

I'm going to assume you f*cked with the needles or something, because I never had that problem.

Solution: Return to stock cluster --- You might have to have the dealer or something look at it if the needle is screwed though.

you broke the needle. theres a series of wires behind the needle so if you move them around you mess the the needle.

are you sure the needle isn't getting stuck on the indiglo's? See if the indiglo's are floating off the back ground. if they are get some thin double sided sticky tape and tape them down, should do the trick.

I had the same **** happen to my gauges. I bent the gauges when i put the in. I just got a new set a it worked fine.

ok update! i just went to the shop and stayed there for HOURS err they fixed it but when i got in to my car the speedo is pointing at 150mph! went in again and they fixed it errrrr now i can go pass 4 and up but the thing is when i start the car the tach is still pointing at 0 so i have to rev it to make the tach pointer working. thats about it but starting is a biatch i have to rev first what ya guys think?

I am confused now.. The gauges should have nothing to do with how your car starts. When your car is running, the tach should read 400-800 rpm, if it doesnt do that, the needle is out of sync. It needs fixed. If you have to pump your gas before your car will actually start running, it is a whole different problem.

i know! sometimes when i start my car it reads sometimes it doesnt what do i do man?should i get different gauge at different shop?
