Default F*ck yo heater!

I've got a 95 accord and im working on my interior and doing something different... and since i dont have A/C and more due to my Massive Turbo and DP, and the car is never seeing bad weather.... I relocated my heater control ***** to my glove box as a just incase.... and this is what i came up with.........................

Let me know what you think...!? this is just a test fit with everything hot glued. Also, the vfac will be replaced with a avc-r(apexi boost controller)

VAFC??? hmmm better to use chrome or Neptune or uberdata..the sucky thing about a VAFC is that you can only yune it for one setting...fro example full throttle or partial.... but the install looks real clean, nice to see that you took time to do it ^_^

I only used the vfac to test fit, Im going to be putting a avc-r (apexi boost controller) in-place of it...

It does look really nice, but how do the heater controls look with the glovebox?

Great DIY !!!
Just wondering how you placed the heater controls in the glove box due to the wire control from the heater valve.

i think when he says he moved them to the glove box, that he means he just tossed them in there.

not sure tho.

definately an awesome install

Looks great! Just curious though. You may want to check the rear clearance before mounting them permanently.

Chrome Pro it's FREE and works great!!!! I'm actually using it in my NA H22 accord...all you need is an OBD 1 ECU either the P72(GSR) P28(SI/EX) or the PO6(VX/DX) and have it chiped with chrome pro..its the same thing and it's free you can tune all aspects of A/F, vtec, timing, blah blah blah....have it tuned on the dyno than take it driving with the Ostrige???(spelling) and have it street tuned youll be very pleased but you wont need that space in your dashboard as this is all controlled via the ECU

The benifits are tremondus!!! as with the VAFC hack you can only tune for 1 setting be it Partial throttle or full.....POINT BLANK FMU and VAFCs break motors its all in the tune...I'd like to hear more details of the setup and if you have a myspace join this group second biggest Accord Forum on Myspace lota turbo H22 and F22 accords in the group check it out!

http://groups.myspace.com/ilovemyaccord

Good luck on whatever you choose

Oh but my faviorte if you got the $$$ to burn is the Apexi Power FC

cromePro is NOT free. Now, you can get the crack for it, but thats just downright low.

if you're a true enthusiast just buy the damn program and give back for all the time the guy has put into making it what it is. its tons better than uberdata and pretty comparable to hondata.

o, and if you didnt notice already, its CROME, no H. you obviously dont know what you are talking about and go by word of mouth. what kind of person doesnt know the names of the products their car runs? also, its OSTRICH.

vafcs and fmu's dont break motors, their user do. how do you think most other non honda turbo setups run? they dont have the ecu development we do, so they run hacks and whatnot. it can be tuned so it runs well enough, not great like with a stand alone, but well enough and will not blow up.

know your **** before you go and spread false things around.
