It seems like just yesterday i was telling everyone I finally got my new z6 running without any codes.
The ****** blew sometime between when I parked it last night and tried to start it this morning. I'll give you guys some clues and see if you can tell me what is wrong.

1. Semi-spirited driving home last night... and I do mean semi, i rang it up to a whopping 5000rpms a couple of times to make a pass in traffic.
2. Weird grinding noise coming from the driver's side wheel... may be completely unrelated
3. Went to start it this morning and I get a grinding sound like when you try to crank the car when it's already started.

Now, I've never had a starter go bad on me, so I'm hoping that's what this is. I had my gf try to start it and I watched the alternator belt to see if the crank was turning. Well, when she hit it, it moved, but then immediately stopped.

Let's see who can solve the mystery of who killed the car in the parking w/ their right foot (EDIT for clarity towards my unclear reference to the board game Clue)?
