yeah thats me.....mileage on the r? or the bike?
I don't drive the R too much, I bought it last feb with 57,000 (which i know isnt right because it was missing screws in the cluster) now its at 71,200. i rebuilt the motor at 70,000.
The bike has 178

I'm definately keeping my eye out for dumbasses, its hard enough for them to see a 2700lb car much less a 350lb bike. My jacket is bright red also which helps a lot.
yeah thats the exhaust, i didn't like it at first, but it has really grown on me and sounds awesome. Aftermarket ones look great too.

Congrats on the bike! That a 600 or a 750? I always wanted my next bike to be either another GSX-R600 or 750... but those Yamaha R6s looking pretty decent too. Becareful when riding tho. Once you start getting brave you may want to start doing stupid stuff like I did, like standing on the seat down a two way street.
Luckliy only thing bad that happened to me before I sold my old GSX-R600 is I dropped it like twice while learning to ride it.

its a 600, i chose it over the zx6, the cbr, and the r6 due to the fact that its more comfortable when i ride it. Im not a big guy so i like the smaller bike. The honda cylce dealer here is way overpriced also and not willing to budge on the msrp. Im happy with this though
I my friend made the same comment, " Now you own the 2 most stolen things in america....." *******. Im thinking about taking a dewalt 18v cordless hammerdrill wherever i go and using concrete anchors to bolt that bitch down.

The 2006 Gix Six looks like it could be the best 600 sportbike to come out in a long time.
It's more streetable than any of its competitors, and has revolutionized the styling of the class towards a more organic, minimalist look. It also has a skinny seat so guys like me (5'6") can almost flat-foot. And it has that cool little pipe.

yeah, im 5'10", i was able to flat foot it no problem.
it is very comfortable.
My only complaint, would be the lack of low/midend power. If you werent 10k+ rpm, the bike really didnt seem very happy.The low/mid needed a bit of tuning over stock. Nothing a power commander couldnt fix. (almost ordered one the day before my bike was stolen
)
It think ill be getting another one, black/silver this time..
