What is your favorite brand/model street tire?
Falken ZE-512 rubbers
They're technically not mine, as they are on my dad's CB9, but they are definitely what I'm getting when I upgrade the tires on my CB7.
Whenever I drive my dad's car, I get good cornering, braking, and excellent stops in the wet...which is essential here on the West Coast.
The performance is sooooo much better than my BF goodrich tires I have on my CB7 it makes me totally forget I'm driving around a Wagon with about 500 lbs extra trunk in the back

I'm with the above guy. I really like my Toyo Proxies. They did great until they started to get worn then the just spin all the time in the rain. The need replacing bad now as the front ones are bald and I mean really bald. I plan to get another set.
I'm rolling on some Kumho Powerstar 758's. Not a bad tire, I've had them for a few months now. Paying my own way for college I had to stay on the cheap side. But for what I use my car for these tires work great.
BF Goodrich G-force sports. 205/55/r15 on 94-95 ex 7 spokes
love these tires. not too much better than my old shitty tires in the rain, but MUCH better in the dry. as long as you're not being stupid in the rain they'll be fine, not a bad ride either even with shorter sidewalls. good price point too.

MauiWowwee,
Are you running the Falkens on your street car? Are the Yokohamas on another car? Which ones do you like better?

The Falken's are on my 19in. rims which i've had on my car for the past 7 months. I've only had the Falkens for a month and a half. Prior to that, I've had the Toyo's for two years 9 months. Bad alignment ate them up.
As for the Yokohama's, they're on my stock wheels. I swap out my wheels from time to time.

245/35YR-17 Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3, very happy with them. Stick to the road like glue and are amazing in wet weather. I would never ever touch snow with them though.
